RDC Compliance Checklist Manifesto
Speakers: Jim Kisch, Chief Strategic Officer - Continuity Control and Susan Orr, Founder - Susan Orr Consulting
Moderator: Erin Handel, CEO, Bankerstuff
Download this complimentary webcast HERE
Program Description
As noted by Dan Fisher, president and CEO of The Copper River Group in a recent ABA Banking Journal article, the comprehensive guidance issued by the FFIEC for Remote Deposit Capture means that any place where deposit documents are scanned and any device for doing so is covered by the guidance, not just merchant capture. RDC comes with additional regulatory implications such as the Bank Secrecy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, and the Patriot Act. If you are confused, as many other financial institutions are, about what your institution needs to monitor and how it is to be reported, the RDC Compliance Checklist Manifesto webinar will bring clarity to your compliance concerns.
After attending this event, participants will gain a broader understanding of remote deposit product's risks and regulatory requirements including:
- New FFIEC work program
- New merchant process step-by-step from application, suitability, underwriting, approval, through set-up
- Ongoing Merchant Risk Analysis and product risk assessments
- Merchant Onsite Inspections and Training
- Monitoring and Reporting: What needs to be monitored and included in reports
Take-aways from this session include:
- Overview of regulatory requirements for your RDC program
- How organizing the process of compliance can save your financial organization time, money and resources
- A checklist of procedures to manage an area of compliance that’s often overlooked
