About the Presenter
Annetta Cortez has worked as a consultant in the Financial Services Industry for over seventeen years. Her particular focus is in applying risk and economic capital approaches to driving business improvements. These particularly take the form of advanced risk and elasticity based pricing approaches, segmentations, and credit process improvements. She has also supported several key clients in their implementation of Basel II regulatory requirements. Ms. Cortez is a Managing Director of Novantas LLC. Previous to joining Novantas, she was a senior partner at KPMG Consulting and a principle at Oliver Wyman and Company. She holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Rochester and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
